Die H-Blockx bewiesen am Summerside Festival 2026 einmal mehr, dass manche Bands, wie ein guter Wein – nicht altern sondern reifen.

Am Samstagnachmittag war es soweit und ich durfte eines meiner Jugendidole endlich auch mal live erleben.

Pünktlich zu ihrem Auftritt bebte das Gelände in Grenchen und der Platz vor der Bühne war ordentlich gefüllt. Die H-Blockx bewiesen von der ersten Sekunde an, dass sie nichts von ihrer Bühnenpräsenz eingebüßt haben. Henning Wehland suchte sofort die Nähe zu den Fans, dirigierte die Menge und verwandelte den Platz vor der Bühne in einen brodelnden Hexenkessel.

Mit Klassikern wie „Move“, oder auch „Risin´High“ wurde dem feiernden Publikum kaum eine Pause gegönnt. Scheinbar hat die Band aus den 90igern auch in 2026 Nichts von Ihrem Charme verloren. Zweifellos ein starker Auftritt und wir sind uns sicher – da kommt noch so einiges.

On Saturday afternoon, the moment had finally arrived, and I got to see one of my childhood idols perform live for the first time.

Right on time for their set, the grounds in Grenchen were buzzing, and the area in front of the stage was packed. From the very first second, the H-Blockx proved that they hadn’t lost any of their stage presence. Henning Wehland immediately sought to connect with the fans, directing the crowd and turning the area in front of the stage into a seething cauldron.

With classics like “Move” and “Risin’ High,” the celebrating audience was given hardly a moment’s respite. It seems the band from the ’90s hasn’t lost any of its charm, even in 2026. Undoubtedly a powerful performance, and we’re certain – there’s plenty more to come.
